How It Works

How Nature Club Works

Nature Clubs run during fall and spring, and we also offer weekly camps throughout the summer!

Kids join us on as many days of the week as they’d like. We usually offer morning and evening options for kids of all ages. We like to group them by preschool and elementary, but siblings and family or friends are welcome to come together. We also offer sibling discounts and bring-a-friend discounts!

Each day offers a mix of free play, structured activities, and hands-on learning that your child is sure to enjoy.

The Benefits of Nature Club:

  • Unplugged Fun: Encourages kids to step away from screens and connect with nature and the world around them.
  • Physical Activity: Hiking, playing, and exploring keep kids moving and active.
  • Social Connection: Build friendships while working together and sharing experiences.
  • Hands-On Learning: Explore the natural world through sensory play and observation.
  • Confidence & Independence: The outdoor play & activities we offer foster problem-solving, courage, and self-discovery.

Testimonials

Families Share Their Stories

“We don’t experience natural environments enough to realize how restored they can make us feel, nor are we aware that studies also show they make us healthier, more creative, more empathetic, and more apt to engage with the world and each other. Nature it turns out is good for civilization.”

- Florence Williams

“The children and nature movement is fueled by this fundamental idea: the child in nature is an endangered species and the health of the children and the health of the Earth are inseparable.”

- Richard Louv

“If you’re looking for a fun place where kids can connect with nature, learn responsibility, and have a blast with animals, the Forest School at Lewis Meadow Farms is the perfect spot! This farm offers an incredible nature camp where children not only get to play outdoors but also take part in daily farm chores—feeding the chickens, brushing the donkeys, and, of course, spending time with the beautiful horses.”
